What is the difference between access virus ti and ti2

If you see it again it's because something has changed so please set your preferences accordingly. Hey guys, I've been thinking about getting a Virus again and a TI seems like the obvious choice for all the extra sound-shaping aprameters, DSP etc. Also, am I right that the only difference betweent he two is polyphony, or is the TI2 supposed to grow rocket engines at some point in the future while the TI has reached the end of its upgrade cycle? I don't keep up with the Access forums any more, although I was one of the first Virus A buyers.

My Studio. I would personally think long and hard about it you really want a Virus if you plan to use the TI connection with your DAW. For me it was a nightmare. I've heard that from many people. The VST integration is trouble. I have lots of issue with audio pops, Virus refusing to start, losing sync with the DAW tempo, and other general fruitiness. It is a great concept but is a constant frustration for me. I wish it worked as advertised. I plan on selling mine off once I finish the project I am working on, and buying something analog.

I have upgraded from version 4 to 4. I have even spoken with people from Access in person at the NAMM show about the issues and they were "working on it" and were supposed to have it corrected by version 5. That was two years ago. The quickest way I can think of is the plastic LCD cover. Access Virus Ti2 Keyboard. Sequential Pro 3 Special Edition. Yamaha Montage 6 White. Analog Cases Sustain Case Sequential Prophet X. Yamaha Montage 8 White. Sequential Prophet REV ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard.

Elektron Digitone Keys. Rate now. Classic Synthesizer. Used by Depeche Mode, Deadamu5, Tool, this is the best digital synth out there.

I just order the virus ti snow, as to portability and for in studio production do you think I was better off with a t1 first gen then the second gen or is the virus ti snow as just as good for production also. The snow has a reduced control interface - but the VST and 'synth engine' are identical - aside from being limited to 4 parts rather than Your browser has JavaScript disabled.

I wish it didn't steal voices as bad as it does. I got a 4 part multi going, all pads, four note cord. I am seriously needing another just to keep building. This synth is not a one horse wonder to be sure.

For example, in my multi I built, it starts chugging down badly on only 16 voices That is only 16 voices going at once on a VA that brags 80 plus voices and I have some drop outs and voice stealing going on Still, I love the synth, it kicks the crap out of anything the 'other' major synth folks have on offer at this moment. One reason I have Ti Keyboard and Ti2 desktop , less worries about resources, layering, and lots of parts play without having issues I don't believe so.

Attached Images Virus Multi pic. Not unless the patches themselves used to build the Multi are in unison to begin with so I am pretty sure they are not since I am layering mostly sonic landscapes and pads You can go to the their website and download a million and then just place them on your computer and preview away until you have something honed and tweaked in such a way that you really do have your own sound, without having to start with an Init patch, really.
